What Is Bò Lúc Lắc?
Bò lúc lắc, or "shaking beef," is a classic Vietnamese dish. The name comes from the way the cubes of beef are tossed and shaken in a very hot wok. The shaking sears every side evenly, so the outside gets a rich caramelized crust while the inside stays tender and juicy. In Vietnam it's often served for family dinners and special occasions.

The cut of beef makes or breaks shaken beef. We use high-quality filet mignon, one of the most tender cuts there is, so every cube is soft and juicy. Put that together with our recipe from Vietnam and a screaming-hot wok, and you get shaken beef that tastes the way it should: savory, a little sweet, and full of wok flavor.
How It's Served
